I think it might a an American thing. Over there, they have to opt-out from everything they sign into. Over here, we opt-in for what we want.

yep...both sites are pretty fucked. We need something like facebook but without the fugly-ness and stupid features that clutter up pages - "no I don't want to play Mafia Wars for the 7 millionth time!" I agree that everything that should be off by default isn't...it's stupid.

Pretty interesting. I'm not against Facebook, I'm not against Google, but hearing that isn't great, though. If this really happens then I guess Twitter won't be the same anymore. But if it would keep being like it is now just with some improvements and stuff then it would be okay. I don't want Twitter to become shit.
